TConnex – Cloud Based Data Storage for iTraker

When carrying out an inspection, the easy capture and storage of important data, and having quick and simple access to recall and share the information, is essential for an efficient business.

This functionality is delivered by the TConnex cloud base storage system which is part of the iTraker app.

How is data stored in TConnex?

TConnex is a cloud-based storage and reporting system developed specifically for iTraker. Data is stored in servers in the US with PKCS #1 SHA-256 with RSA encryption and is backed up daily, given iTraker users globally quick and secure access to their data.

Currently there are no storage limits in terms of file size, and data is stored indefinitely.

Management of files within TConnex?

Before starting to use the iTraker on a new job, it is important to set up the new location / job details. All saved data, screenshots and photos get saved under the job details, with jobs from the same location grouped together.

All images and data saved to TConnex can be recalled, annotations added and the images re-saved – very useful for capturing information correctly to deliver a comprehensive inspection report.

It is also possible to upload files and information from outside of the iTraker app to upload relevant files to TConnex.

How are files shared from TConnex?

Images and files can be downloaded from TConnex into the image gallery of the device or shared though the normal options, as you would other images from your device.
